Can PhotoShop alone be used to learn from your DVD Tutorials? Or is the Painter software a must?

I have so many programs and really can’t justify until I learn how to use the ones I have.

    Thanks for your help,

    Hi Judi,
You can use PS for this tutorial too. In Photoshop instead of making a clone you would make a copy of your original picture you want to paint. Then you can add layers to paint onto if you want. There are many different brushes in PS to use. You do not have to use only one type. Experiment with different brushes.

    hi carry,

im interesting in your portrait tutorial, but i have a question. ist this style a “realy” painting or
    turning photos into painting style?

    cheers soel

    Hi Soel,
These are turning photos into a painting. I take a photo and clone it into a painting.
