I have been asked many times how to draw eyes. There is an endless supply of information of “how to” but I found this one somewhat easy to follow along and the wonderful thing is you can do it in Photoshop!
Pay close attention to how the white of the eye is colored. Many make the mistake of making them solid white. There is actually very little white surounded by alot of grey and some red. This is what gives the eye more depth. Solid white makes the eyes look flat and a little scary.
Chris (http://www.studiochris.us/) set this website up and was a real pleasure to work with. Patience and knowledge is a specialty with him. Thank you Chris for all your help. Very fun experience!
I have always had an interest in some type of art/craft since I was very young.
Since 2004, I have been using Photoshop and Painter to learn how to create digital “Art”. A fun learning experience and meeting wonderful friends on the internet interested in the same thing.
I started out using my mouse and many types of actions to come up with interesting and painterly effects. Then a few people were posting paintings on DPreview/retouching forums which intrigued me to learn this process.
All my paintings are done by hand using the Wacom tablet and pen now. Sometimes I may use an action to get me going or for an underpainting to work with or even add a different dimension..
Thank you to all my many friends that have helped me along the way,
